This page contains articles on training and related themes. The articles are written as much to be educational as for my personal enjoyment, and include personal experiences travelling across the world and some retrospective views.
These articles highlight some of he principles, tenets and philosophies I hold about strength training and powerlifting.

They also include a lot of nonsense. Enjoy.

Training for the untalented: How to make super out of average
Physically, I am an average talent. Most of the people I coach are physically average or mildly gifted. Odds are that you are an also. Does it mean you can't be awesome?
Hell no!

Every competition isn't like you want it.
When the warmup bench is held together by a teaspoon, timetables have a 9-hour delay or 20 lifters have to share one bent bar for warmups, one has two choices:
1. Make the best of it and make some memories.
2. Be a wet wipe.

The boring sh*t:
Things that make you better but you are too lazy to do.
OK, sometimes it is not just laziness. Sometimes you don't just know there is stuff outside your basic nutrition, psychology, and training that can help you.
This article explores the things that are boring, take a lot of time, and only make you 1% better.
